Dove Lake is a beautifully picturesque mountain lake near the famous Cradle Mountain in northern Tasmania. It’s an oft-photographed lake as it reflects Cradle Mountain very nicely. I was more interested in the changes in texture, from the pebbly bank of the lake to it’s smooth ripples, to the craggy hills behind the lake and ultimately the windswept clouds in the blue sky, not to mention the little boathouse on the right hand side of the image. One of my favourite Tasmania photos.
